While I am a technologist, I understand innovation alone can not resolve all the issues the world is dealing with. That’s why I was exceptionally happy to join our our “Support the Future” project by regional group in Vietnam and get my hands unclean to plant 1,000 mangrove trees in Can Gio. It was an amazing minute to see the appeal of nature up close, and witness firsthand the favorable effect we can have on the environment!
Something that I have actually gained from this experience, is that no matter how advanced an innovation system is, it can never ever change the power of a neighborhood coming together for a typical cause. As we commemorate the Earth Day today, I motivate you all, to take a break from the AI conversations, go go out there, and plant some genuine trees!
