"Today I show what I can do" – this was the motto of the TSV stockheim gymnastics club’s christmas party, which was attended by many guests. At the same time, the 28 girls showed great gymnastic performances.
There was a lot of anticipation as the 28 girls, aged four to 15, entered the gymnasium to the accompaniment of music. After a short funeral and some words of the chairwoman of the TSV stockheim, elisabeth finzel, who especially warmly buried burgermeister rainer detsch, the sporty end-of-year celebration began.
The head of operations sophie korner informed in advance. Since there are only a few competitions left in the coburg-frankenwald gymnastics district, especially for the younger gymnasts, the children had the opportunity to show their relatives what they had learned and practiced in the last few months. It was not surprising that many of the children could not hide their excitement, but therefore tried all the harder.
In the course of an internal club competition, the gymnasts completed the beam and horizontal bar apparatus in a first round, followed by vaulting and floor exercises in a second round. In between a small dance performance of some gymnasts brought all present in high spirits.
Mayor rainer detsch performed the award ceremony and solemnly handed over trophies to the children with words of praise, making their eyes light up. The head of the municipality was pleased with the performance and the gymnastics skills of the girls. He also thanked the responsible training supervisors, first and foremost sophie korner and from their training team also maren haslach- hafner, luisa kestel and ralf oppel as well as department head michaela geiger for their voluntary commitment. But that was not all! As a christmas finale, all the children danced together and sang "christmas time" in christmas pits a. The guests were provided with cake and coffee, happchen, drinks, children’s punch and gluhwein, which made the pre-christmas atmosphere perfect. The girls train every monday from 4 pm to 7 pm and every thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm.
